IWS Aviation is a comprehensive, easy-to-use solution for employee tracking and large-scale production of professional, tamper resistant photo-identification badges. Designed specifically for the airport industry, IWS Aviation enables airports to track, implement and enforce policies and procedures for badge issuance and payment:
- Create rules to establish badge requirements and track badge expiration and reprint dates.
- Track background investigations to meet FAA requirements and prohibit badge issuance until investigation requirements have been met.
- Track employee training information including course name, completion date and scores to prohibit badge issuance until training requirements have been successfully completed.
- Track employee infractions, fines and all violation information including who issued the violation, violation type, date, location and fine amount.
- Track all badge and key transactions through a custom point-of-sale system to ensure the airport receives payment for all ID cards, access cards, accessories, infractions and more. Split payment options allow the company or airport vendor to be billed for badges and keys while employees pay for accessories or infractions with cash, checks or credit cards. Default or custom pay plans for badges can also be established.

- Biometric plug-ins enable users to capture face, iris, finger and other biometric data and store this information on a badge with a smart chip, magnetic stripe and/or bar code then compare that data with the badge holder's actual biometric minutia.
- Encoding plug-ins enable users to encode memory, proximity and smart cards in addition to multi-function, high-security public key encryption cards.
To help ensure FAA compliance, IWS Aviation is highly configurable and customizable to accommodate even the most demanding requirements.
