ImageWare provides law enforcement with comprehensive digital booking investigative and identification solutions that can be accessed via PC, Web-based, wireless or data sharing platforms to ensure that criminal mug shots and data get into the hands of officers when and where they need it most.
IWS™ Law Enforcement (formerly CCS): IWS Law Enforcement enables officers to capture, store and search booking data and images including mug shots, fingerprints & SMTs. IWS Law Enforcement consists of two primary components: a Capture Component and an Investigative Component. The Capture component can integrate with existing FBI,DMV, RMS, JMS, AFIS or other systems to capture live, scanned or imported images, as well as arrest and demographic data. The Investigative component can be used to:
- Create photo lineups and mug books
- Print photo IDs and wristbands for inmates, employees & visitors
- Conduct Web-based investigations
- Share booking data and images with other local, state & federal agencies
- Search mug shots for possible suspects using facial recognition technology
- Generate wanted posters
Optional add-on modules enable users search the database for potential suspects based on facial recognition technology. Additional add-ons allow IWS Law Enforcement data and images to be accessed via the Web or wirelessly with a mobile data terminal or PDA.
IWS™ Suspect ID: With IWS Suspect ID, officers don’t need an art degree to create a suspect composite. This easy to use digital composite software also works seamlessly with ImageWare’s facial recognition module, enabling officers to use state-of-the-art biometrics to find a list of potential matches to their composites.
