today announced that it has deployed its WinBadge® NT ID badging system at Bard College, enabling the campus to design and print approximately 1,500 identification badges each year for its students, faculty and staff.
ImageWare's WinBadge software enables colleges to produce and track photo ID badges complete with logos, background images, barcodes and watermarks. WinBadge comes equipped with built-in security measures including: password protected log-in screens, digital hard lock keys, time-out features and the ability to restrict access to user-defined screens. Other features include the ability to interface with access control or human resource systems and produce image documents and standard or custom personnel reports.
On the search for an integrated ID solution, Michael Tompkins, Bard College's Director of Information Systems said, "We were looking for a comprehensive, end-to-end solution to our manual ID card production process. WinBadge maximized the use of our existing hardware and could easily integrate with our SCT, BANNER and Oracle information systems, making it the logical choice in creating a more advance, automated badging process."
