ImageWare's Crime Capture System® Provides More Than Just Mugshots

The Arizona Department of Corrections, Santa Rosa Police Department and Multnomah Sheriff's Office Leverage Existing Crime Capture Systems To Produce Employee IDs

SAN DIEGO, CA, April 7, 2003 - ImageWare Systems, Inc. (AMEX: IW) today announced that the Arizona Department of Corrections (ADC), Santa Rosa Police Department, and Multnomah Sheriff's Office have expanded their existing Crime Capture Systems (CCS) to enable the secure production of employee ID cards. These law enforcement organizations are currently using ImageWare's CCS solution to capture, store and retrieve digital mugshots and booking information.

"By leveraging our existing CCS system, ADC will be able to reliably and quickly produce all employee ID cards throughout our 11 facilities," said Kim Smith, ADC project manager. "We have increased operational efficiency by using ImageWare's system to produce inmate identification cards; it was obvious to crossover to add this new capability for our employee IDs."
