ImageWare Systems Receives Contract from GE Security for Approximately $275,000
SAN DIEGO, CA, November 20, 2006 -
ImageWare® Systems, Inc. (AMEX: IW), a leading developer of identity management solutions, today announced it has received an order valued at approximately $275,000 from GE Security, a leading supplier of security and life safety technologies.
This initial contract, awarded for an undisclosed project, will leverage ImageWare’s identity management suite including its IWS™ Biometric Engine® and IWS Card Management System™.

ImageWare and GE Security recently formed an alliance to deliver biometric secure credentials utilizing GE Picture Perfect enterprise access control and security management solution with ImageWare’s biometric identity management and secure credential technologies. As a result, Picture Perfect will support biometric enrollment and identity proofing, as well as card management and issuance of biometrically-enabled secure credentials, thus meeting the requirements of Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 (HSPD-12) and the Transportation Security Administration’s (TSA) Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC), among others.
