ImageWare® Receives Orders Valued In Excess Of $190,000 For Its IWS™ Law Enforcement Solution

a global leader in identity management solutions, today announced that it has received purchase orders valued at more than $190,000 from multiple law enforcement agencies for its IWS™ Law Enforcement booking, identification and investigative solution. The orders are scheduled to be installed at law enforcement agencies in Gilbert, Ariz., Modesto, Calif., Jackson, Tenn., and Hawaii in Q4 2004 and Q1 2005.
The IWS Law Enforcement is a complete digital booking, identification and investigative solution that enables users to digitally capture, store, search and retrieve demographic data and images including mug shots, fingerprints, and scars, marks and tattoos (SMTs). These images can be captured live, scanned or imported and retrieved to generate wanted posters, print employee, visitor or inmate ID cards or wristbands.
Its investigative components include capabilities such as conducting Web-based investigations, text-based and biometric searches, creating photo lineups and mugbooks as well as saving the lineups along with witness and viewing session information. The IWS Law Enforcement also enables agencies to submit NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) compliant fingerprint data directly to the State AFIS (Automated Fingerprint Identification System), FBI criminal repository, or other agencies, as required.
