ImageWare Systems Names New Managing Director Of German Subsidiary, Digital Imaging International (DII)
SAN DIEGO, CA & AICHWALD, Germany, December 22, 2003 - ImageWare Systems, Inc. (AMEX: IW),
a global provider of digital imaging, identification and biometric solutions, today announced the appointment of Roger Maass as managing director of DII GmbH, the Company’s wholly owned German subsidiary. Effective January 1st 2004, Maass will spearhead the Company’s sales, marketing, business development and operational efforts in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

Maass brings more than 15 years of management experience to DII with proven leadership in worldwide projects and operations at prominent companies within the secure credentials industry, including Giesecke Devrient (G&D), ACG, and Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC).
