ImageWare Systems Awarded Contracts from City of Milwaukee and City of Cleveland Police Departments
SAN DIEGO, CA, October 20, 2000 - ImageWare Systems, Inc. (AMEX:IW) announced today is has been selected to supply the Cities of Milwaukee and Cleveland with integrated digital mug shot systems. The value of the contracts with Milwaukee and Cleveland Police Departments were approximately $362,000 and $99,000 respectively.
ImageWare's Crime Capture System® will be used to create digital databases of arrest records for individuals booked in these two metropolitan areas. The City of Milwaukee's system will have a link into the Milwaukee County system, which was installed by ImageWare in 1999. The link will enable the County and the City of Milwaukee to share digital records on a real time basis.
