ImageWare Systems to Demonstrate Interoperable Identity Management for Border Management and Enterprise Security

SAN DIEGO, CA, October 23, 2006 - ImageWare® Systems, Inc. (AMEX: IW), a leading developer and provider of identity management solutions, today announced that the company will be demonstrating its interoperable multi-biometric identity management and secure credentialing capabilities at two upcoming October events: the 2nd Annual Border Management Summit and Oracle® OpenWorld.

The 2nd Annual Border Management Summit will focus on current border issues and advancements. The Summit will be held at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center on October 23 – 25 in Washington, DC.

ImageWare will also be participating at Oracle® OpenWorld San Francisco on October 22 – 26 at the Moscone Convention Center. ImageWare will be exhibiting in the Secured Enterprise Pavilion and showcased at the Secured Enterprise Pavilion Theater, where industry experts and leading security vendors will provide live demonstrations of real-world security scenarios for security, identity management and compliance. ImageWare will be featured under the presentation entitled, The Big Convergence: Integrating Physical and Logical Security to Support Enterprise Risk Management.
