ImageWare® Showcases IWS™ Biometric Engine® At Oracle® OpenWorld 2004

a global leader in identity management solutions, and Partner in the Oracle® PartnerNetwork, today announced it will showcase its IWS™ Biometric Engine® at Oracle OpenWorld 2004 in San Francisco, Calif., Dec. 5 – 9. ImageWare will provide hands-on product demonstrations of its multi-biometric engine in the Enterprise Security Pavilion, Booth 137.

The IWS™ Biometric Engine® is a scalable multi-biometric engine that specifically addresses mission-critical security applications. It enables users to enroll and manage unlimited population sizes and conduct multi-modal, comparative biometric searches including exhaustive (1:n), specific (1:1) or investigative (x:n). The IWS™ Biometric Engine® is available as part of a Web-based, biometric enrollment, identification, verification and investigative application or as a platform that enables system integrators to build custom identity management applications or incorporate biometric enrollment, search and authentication functionality into existing applications.
Oracle Application Server 10g is an integrated, standards-based software platform and the first application server designed to take advantage of new grid technology features. This support will enable ImageWare customers to further streamline their mission-critical processes as they move to latest Oracle’s Application Server.
Supporting ID management initiatives, the IWS Biometric engine can be deployed across a wide array of industries and applications including national ID, driver license, border control, amusement and events, and other identity management systems.
