SAN DIEGO, CA, September 18, 2000 - ImageWare Systems, Inc. (AMEX:IW) today announced it will be providing a digital booking and identification software package for Polaroid's Commercial, ID division (NYSE:PRD). Polaroid's Digital Crime Package will provide small and mid-size law enforcement agencies with an affordable, easy to use digital booking and identification system that will allow for the digital capture, storage, and searching of criminal photographs and associated data. Images and associated data can be printed for the purpose of sharing photos and booking information with other agencies, for creating photo line-ups or for producing identification cards. According to Sergeant Charlie Armanetti of the Middleborough, MA Police Department, "We are excited to implement this new digital crime package tailored for the average local police department. We at Middleborough Police Department, MA believe that this product will give us the opportunity to share information with officers and the public not only throughout the 69 square miles of patrol area but interdepartmentally as well.
