ImageWare Systems Forms Strategic Alliance with Sagem Morpho
SAN DIEGO, CA, August 16, 2002 - Security technology company, ImageWare Systems, Inc. (AMEX:IW) today announced that it has signed a value-added reseller agreement with SAGEM Morpho, Inc., a proven provider of mission-critical biometric solutions and services. Under the terms of this agreement, SAGEM Morpho will resell ImageWare's law enforcement product line separately or in conjunction with the company's biometric technology solutions to key law enforcement and government agencies across the United States.
ImageWare's law enforcement product line includes its flagship product, Crime Capture System® (CCS). CCS automates the criminal investigation process by enabling law enforcement agencies to capture, store and retrieve digital mugshots, criminal records and related booking information all within a single, centralized database. CCS can be utilized on a stand alone or networked basis and also via the Web or a handheld device. Additional components to CCS allow for facial recognition, the creation of digital suspect composites, image enhancements, vehicle identification and more.
