Tucson Police Department Upgrades IWS Booking Solution To Conduct Web-based Investigations
SAN DIEGO, CA, June 23, 2004 - ImageWare® Systems, Inc. (AMEX: IW),
a leading global developer of digital imaging, identification and biometric software solutions, today announced that the Tucson Police Department in Tucson, Ariz., will expand its current Crime Capture System® (CCS) to conduct Web-based investigations. ImageWare’s CCS is a complete, easy-to-use digital booking, identification and investigative solution for automated capture, storage, and retrieval of booking images and related information.
Under the terms of the agreement, ImageWare will provide Tucson Police with a browser-based application that will enable officers to easily search and retrieve booking information, as well as create photo lineups, digital mug books and generate wanted posters via the Department’s secure Intranet.
