ImageWare Systems Appoints Mary June Makoul as Vice President of Marketing
SAN DIEGO, CA, May 23, 2002 - ImageWare Systems, Inc. (AMEX:IW) today announced that Mary June Makoul has been appointed as vice president of marketing. Reporting to Lori Rodriguez, president of ImageWare's Americas Group, Makoul will spearhead the company's global marketing strategies and aggressively drive growth through execution of innovative marketing programs.
Makoul joins ImageWare with extensive experience in marketing, organizational management, high tech brand and product development, lead generation and public relations resulting in substantial revenue and profit growth. Prior to joining ImageWare, Makoul held senior marketing management positions at Proxima Corporation, LAN Systems, Andataco/Nstor and most recently served as the vice president of marketing at Zzyzx Peripherals, Inc.
