SAN DIEGO, CA, March 24, 2006 - ImageWare Systems, Inc. (AMEX: IW), a leading developer and provider of identity management solutions, will be showcasing its field-proven biometric security and identity management technologies, including the IWS™ Biometric Engine® and Secure Credentialing products, at two upcoming events, the 2nd Annual Global Border Control Technology Summit and the Canadian Aviation Security Conference. The Global Border Control Technology Summit is the leading event for international governments, vendors and integrators involved in the deployment of e-passports or other border security measures using biometric technology. The Summit will be held at the Guoman Tower Hotel in London on March 27-28, 2006. The Canadian Aviation Security Conference will explore the changing environment in the aviation industry including intelligence and security, privacy, cross-border, transportation, of cargo and more. The conference will take place at the Brookstreet Resort in Ottawa, Canada, on March 29-30, 2006. At the Canadian Aviation Security Conference, Bill Willis, ImageWare’s Executive Vice President of Business Development, will be speaking on the Biometric Identifiers and the Modern Face of Terror panel on March 30 at 9:30am. Mr. Willis will illustrate the success of ImageWare’s identity management technologies and outline the role it plays in the global war on terror. Furthermore, Mr. Willis will demonstrate the flexibility and scalability of ImageWare’s Biometric Engine product suite, in addition to its law enforcement, secure credential and network security capabilities which are used worldwide by government, aviation, corporate enterprises and law enforcement organizations. As an active participant in the global security market, ImageWare will confer with government agency representatives to illustrate the successful implementation of the company’s field-proven technologies for e-passport, border control and related security, travel documentation and ID initiatives.
