Defense technology developer Raytheon has awarded biometric security and identity management firm ImageWare Systems Inc. a $900,000 contract for its Biometric Engine Border Management technology that supports land, air, and sea ports utilizing several biometrics, including face, finger, live-scan fingerprint and iris.

San Diego, CA - ImageWare Systems, Inc., a leading developer and provider of identity management solutions, today announced that the company has been awarded a $900K contract from Raytheon Company for its IWS™ Biometric Engine® Border Management solution.

The IWS™ Biometric Engine® Border Management product supports land, air and sea ports and utilizes biometrics including face, single finger, Livescan fingerprint and iris, during the enrollment and identification processing at border crossings.
