General Dynamics Chooses ImageWare

General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems, a business unit of General Dynamics, has selected ImageWare Systems' IWS™ Biometric Engine® as the foundation for a federal biometric pilot project. General Dynamics plans to use the IWS™ Biometric Engine® to test the viability of increased accuracy when using more than one biometric, such as face, finger and iris, in a single integrated environment. The IWS™ Biometric Engine® is technology-agnostic and lets users employ biometric devices and algorithms from any vendor. It can also support a combination of biometric types, such as finger, face, iris, hand geometry, palm, DNA, signature, voice and retina.
