Identification management is critical to safeguarding our countries and borders, and the identities of our citizens.

To address this need, ImageWare Systems has developed a secure credential Software Developer's Kit (SDK) that has been used by government programmers, systems integrators and ImageWare’s technical engineers to develop and deploy custom, integrated identification solutions around the globe. These solutions include passports and ICAO compliant travel documents, visas, driver licenses, government IDs, national IDs, transit cards, national medical cards and more.

To meet the sophisticated requirements of government applications, ImageWare’s SDK:

Incorporates biometric minutia into credentials including: fingerprint, face, iris and palm
Supports one-to-one or one-to-many verification processes
Employs tamper-resistant design features including holograms, ruggedized patches, microprinting and watermarks
Encodes smart chips, magnetic stripes and 2D bar codes inline with the printing process

ImageWare’s open architecture enables all custom credential applications to readily integrate with existing hardware and software and allows cameras, biometric devices, printers, bar codes, databases and encoders to be interchanged easily.
