IWS Law Enforcement Training - Suspect ID

Duration: 6 hours

This course is designed for the training and certification of composite creators in the use of the Suspect ID program. Attendees will learn interviewing techniques that will assist in creating more accurate composites. In additional to creating, saving and editing composite images, attendees learn to create special bulletins such as wanted posters. Practice exercises will allow those in attendance to hone their interviewing and composite creation skills.

Additional Facility Requirements
• PC loaded with a licensed copy of the Suspect ID software
• Student user logons with appropriate Suspect ID privileges if applicable

At class completion students will be able to:
• Relay the reasons and requirements for creating a composite
• Use the Suspect ID program to interview and create a base composite
• Alter an existing image
• Save a composite at various stages
• Create additional composites for an existing case
• Create a special bulletin using the suspect composite
