To do this, open a command prompt window and type the following: regsvr mscomctl.ocx and hit enter. Now type in regsvr comdlg32.ocx. Each time you do this, a popup will let you know that they have been registered successfully. Selecting 600 DPI seams to help a bit, but overall it’s readable but not the best. When in the Kodak interface, one must make sure not to set the “X” axis at the max value, otherwise you receive the error below. Although you can still click OK and proceed to the GACARD crop window, crop manually and capture the image the error is annoying. (Max. value should not exceed 8.62) Must refresh the Kodak scanner interface on each NEW scan by clicking on preview. Otherwise the previouse scan is still there. Must install the scanner driver before installing the Kodak software Failure note:   If you select “8 Bit color” for a “Signature” you will receive the error "failed to capture image.
